LOYAL - Katherine "Katie" R. Decker, 23, of Loyal, died Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2005, of injuries suffered in a car accident.
Services will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 18, 2005, at Community Funeral Home in Spencer. The Rev. Steve Wentz will officiate. Burial of cremains will take place at a later date.
Friends may call from 5 p.m. to service time Thursday at the funeral home.
Katherine was born Oct. 16, 1981, in Daytona Beach, Fla., to Glenn and Ellen (Kollis) Decker. She was a graduate of Spencer High School. Katie attended Luther College and the UW-Marshfield/Wood County before joining the Air Force. She served in Iraq. After leaving the Air Force she moved back to the area to live. She was very active in theater and music both in school and after graduation.
She is survived by her mother Ellen Decker of Loyal; her father, Glenn Decker of Deland, Fla.; a sister, Sarah (David) Zielke of Sun Prairie; niece, Olivia Zielke and maternal grandmother, Ruth Kollis of Loyal.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents.

SPENCER - By request of the family, the visitation and service for Katherine "Katie" R. Decker, of Loyal, who died Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2005, will be at the LuCille Tack Center in Spencer.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today. The service will immediately follow at 7 p.m. Burial of cremains will take place at a later date.
Community Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
